Cheap Cyprus Holidays

Cyprus is by far one of the most beautiful and interesting Mediterranean Islands to visit - making a Cyprus holiday an ideal for you and your family. It oozes charm with its white sandy beaches, turquoise warm waters, year round sunshine and a wealth of history which incorporates a good mixture of old and new Cyprus.

The island is divided into North and South Cyprus. Travelling to the south of the island will find you in the resorts and towns of Aiya Napa, Larnaka, Lemissol and Pafos. Northern Cyprus will take you to Karpas Peninsula, Kyrenia, Lefkosta and Morfall.

Southern Cyprus

Southern Cyprus is where the majority of sun worshippers and holiday goers head for. It’s offers great nightlife, nice clean beaches and a modern Cyprus with retail malls, fast food joints, and international restaurants, themed bars with the usual Kareoke entertainment and plentiful shops and supermarkets for added convenience.

Northern Cyprus

Northern Cyprus which is primarily Turkish due to the invasion of 1974 has much appeal. It has a more traditional and unspoilt part of Cyprus with its museums, monasteries, churches, castles and tombs to explore. It also has some beautiful beaches, grassy roaming hills and good hiking possibilities.

Car Hire

The best mode of transportation when sightseeing around the island is by car. Cheap car hire is available throughout the island costing a mere £25.00 for two day hire and complete with a full tank of petrol ready for you to sightsee along the southern coast into some of the newly developed resorts of Protaros and Pemera.

Famagusta

Famagusta is a well known visitor attraction due to the Turkish invasion. A guided tour around the ghost town is accessible by coach. You can of course take your car; however you will only get as far as the check point before being turned away by the Turkish army. Another main Cyprus attraction is the lovely Troodhos Mountains popular for hiking and skiing in the winter months on Mount Olympus.
