Cheap Cyprus Accomodation
Many Cyprus holidaymakers will be travelling on a package holiday where accommodation is included in the cost of the holiday whether it’s a studio apartment, hotel on a room only basis, self catering or an all inclusive deal. Finding your own accommodation may be tricky during the summer season of May – October as hotels, villas and apartments are often booked by tour operators for package holiday customers.
Independently booking accommodation is possible off peak season with a typical standard hotel double room costing anything from £19.00 - £30.00 per room per night.
Camping
Camping is a great option if you can do without creature comforts. Camp sites are scattered around Cyprus in Larnaka, Limmassol and Pafos. Most camp sites are open from March – October, cost is around £1.00 - £2.00 per person.
Hostels
Hostels are inexpensive for accommodation costing around £6.00 per night. You can find hostels in Larnaka, Pafos, Nicosia and Mount Olympus.
Guest Houses
Guest houses are widely available throughout southern Cyprus. Many will advertise room vacancies in the window. If you haven’t pre-booked your accommodation already it may be an option. A typical room will cost around £7.00 per night including breakfast.
