Nairobi National Park is home to a number of wild animals such as the black rhino, buffalo, leopard, lion, zebra, giraffe and hippos to name a small few.  The animals are free to room the vast plains and one of the best places to see for yourself these majestic animals are at the southeast of the park where they are drawn to the pools here.  This national Park is one of the best in Africa and if a fascinating visit for the whole family.  The National Park also has a fantastic Safari Walk.  Located just before the toll gate at the main park entrance, here you can see a selection of resident animals such as tigers and even a gorilla or two.  The safari walk in guided for a more informative experience. 
The National Museum of Nairobi is a perfect introduction to the natural cultural Kenyan attractions.  This Museum is the largest museum in the country and exhibits some of the most amazing Kenyan artefacts and items of importance. 
One of the main attractions to Nairobi and certainly one of the more fun activities is to go along to the Maasai Market.  This large and colourful market is open on Tuesday and Friday mornings and is situated at the top of Mai Avenue.  The Maasai Market has a superb selection of  local trinkets, beads, gourds and baskets which make ideal keepsakes of  your holiday to Nairobi or perfect souvenirs for friends and family back home.
While staying the entertaining city of Nairobi, there is no shortage of evening entertainment.  The choice of lovely restaurants and bars are endless as is your choice of amusement.  There is a lot of weekend music in the centre of town with live bands and clubs.  The music is mainly guitar based and is a real treat to hear. 
For a truly breathtaking view of the wonderful city of Nairobi, then what better way to see all the sights than by aircraft.  There are regular small local companies which offer you the chance to fly in one of their plains for a birds eye view of the city.  Flights can be arranged locally and are well worth the money if you get the chance.
