Kerela is regarded as one of the most beautiful parts of south India and at this location you will find the beautiful hill station of Munnar. It is a small town but remains one of the most popular tourist locations in this part of India.

It is located over 6000 feet above sea level and it seems to be an infinite expanse of tea and spice plantations. These are situated within some of the most beautiful nature imaginable, with lush green mountains, incredible waterfalls and numerous wildlife sanctuaries. Munnar is simply one of those places that are so beautiful words cannot do it justice.

There is an enormous amount on offer in Munnar and one of the greatest attractions is navigating the backwaters on a houseboat. Each experience on one of these boats is unique and is something that won’t be forgotten. What is so fantastic about the town is that despite its immense popularity with tourism it has not lost its original feel and it remains a rustic and historic location.

As a colonial town the architecture is quite spectacular and really adds to the natural beauty of the area. Just walking through town is quite an experience as you will be able to enjoy the fantastic architecture as well as have the smell of tea and spices fill your nose. It is widely regarded by tourist agencies as not just the best hill station in the region but also possibly the best in all of India.

Munnar is clearly a very special place and this is something you can only really understand once you have been here. Its magic is something that keeps attracting people back as it offers an amount of peace that cannot be found anywhere else in India. If you are on holiday here you are going to have an experience you will never forget.

After all, these destinations themselves have plenty of magnificent tourist attractions and Singapore especially is blessed with spectacular natural scenery. In fact, when the time comes to get on the plane to Sydney, you may find that there is still lots left that you want to see.

Sentosa Island is not just a lively and bustling part of the city, but it is also where many of the purpose-built tourist attractions can be found, such as Tiger Sky Tower, Under Water World, Dolphin Lagoon and Insect Park. Children of all ages will enjoy these fun activities while older teenagers and adults can try a range of water sports from Sentosa’s shores.

The colourful Jurong Bird Park is a great day out for the whole family, giving everyone the chance to spot some of the exotic species which live wild in Singapore and the rest of Asia, but which here are kept in controlled habitats for the benefit of tourists. Over 600 species are represented in the Jurong Bird Park and there are almost 7,000 creatures so they should be easy to spot.

Kent Ridge Park is a more peaceful option, more of an attraction for adults interested in exploring Singapore’s natural environment and enjoying a fabulous view over the city’s many islands. Filled with native trees such as Tembusu Acacias and Dillienias, Kent Ridge Park is the ideal place to escape the hustle and bustle of Singapore for a few hours.

The Asian Civilisation Museum is a must for any first-time visitor to Singapore as it explains so much about the area’s rich and fascinating history. Many of the other historical and cultural sights will mean so much more once you realise their significance.

Finally, a popular day trip from Singapore is to the nearby island of Bintan, where visitors can choose between relaxing on tropical beaches or exploring 16th century buildings. This is a salt lake which covers over 30 square kilometres and is very shallow, with a maximum depth of less than 10 metres. There is no outlet from the lake and the reason for the high salt content is because much water is evaporated from the lake due to the high temperatures.

The conditions mean that there are no fish in the lake but there is a type of algae that provides a lot of food for the flamingo birds which often feed here. For people who are interested in coming to view the pink flamingoes, then this lake, along with several others in the region, provide the perfect location.

This part of Kenya has been protected as a national park since 1973 and there are many hot springs and geysers nearby. The lakes water comes from the Emsos and Sandai rivers as well as around 200 hot springs. As well as the hot springs which drain into the lake, there are several on the floor of it which discharge water directly into it. Anyone visiting the lake would be well advised to stay away from the hot springs as the water temperature is extremely high and could burn you.

Sulphur water also gushes into the lake and it is believed that this can have some therapeutic value. There are also numerous animals around the lake including buffalos, zebras, monkeys and gazelles. It is also possible to spot predator animals such as hyenas, leopards, cheetahs and jackals.

There are also nearly 400 different types of bird species in the area and around 50 of these are migratory. If you particularly want to see these animals then it would be best to come early in the morning or late in the afternoon as this is when temperatures are more bearable.

The national park is about 1500 metres above sea level and many have described it as one of the most beautiful places in Africa. If you are in Kenya you should take the time to visit this stunning location.

It is located in the southernmost part of the country and there are many tours and travel operations set up for visitors to explore this part of India.

It has stunning backwaters as well as incredible beaches and inland it is equally breathtaking. There are beautiful green landscapes with stunning lakes as well as man-made attractions such as historical monuments.

This is a state in India which can be explored with a sense of adventure and there are few tourist destinations today as exotic and exciting as India. One of the best places to visit in Kerela is Thekkady which has stunning tea plantations as well as those that grow spices. The area is famous for its rich animal and plant life which can be fascinating to explore. The natural beauty of this part of the state is overwhelming.

Cochin is a stunning historical city which attracts many tourists every year and its backwaters are regularly explored by people on holiday. It also has stunning beaches and colonial Portuguese buildings which are also worth visiting.

The Jewish synagogue, the Dutch palace, Marine Drive, the Chinese fishing nets and the spice market are all attractions that are worth seeing in this part of Kerela. This is one of the most exciting places that you can visit in this part of India and will be an experience you never forget.

Trivandrum is one of the most visited tourist spots in the state, and maybe the whole of India. It has a rich culture and history and it offers a gateway to various tourist hotspots nearby such as Ponmudi Hill Station, Varkala Beach and Kovalam Beach. There are also numerous attractions that are worth visiting including Travancore Building, Vizhinjam Port site, Kowdiar Palace and Gandhi Park.

Alleppey, which also goes by the name Alappuzha, is one of the most famous beach and backwater destinations in India. Its backwater tourism is some of the most developed and there are well-organised houseboat tours leaving on a daily basis. Taking a houseboat out across the scenic waterways is one of the best experiences in all of India.

The backwater cruisers have meant this part of Kerela has been given the name, “the Venice of the East.” This is an experience you should not miss out on and is something that you will probably need to organise in advance.

One of the most beautiful and popular hill stations in Kerela is located in Munnar and it is found in the surrounding tea and spice plantations. The natural beauty here is spectacular and the lush landscapes provides an ideal place to spend a holiday. For those here on a honeymoon this is one of the most popular parts of Kerela to head to.

If you’ve never been to Dubai before, you’ve missed out on a unique and memorable holiday experience.

First time visitors to Dubai may want to speak to a personal travel advisor to make sure they get the right accommodation, flight times, and tailored information on things to see and do.

The laws in Dubai are different than those of the UK, so it’s also handy to find out things you shouldn’t do, to avoid any unwanted trouble while you’re there.

Listed below are some of the most popular things to do in Dubai.

Laze on the beaches

The beaches in Dubai are world class. Many UK holidaymakers fly to Dubai every year just to take it easy and do as little as possible.

The beaches in Dubai are never as crowded as those in many of the popular European resorts such as Benidorm.

Flying that bit further from the UK will provide all the rest and relaxation you could ever need.

Shopping

Dubai is a very wealthy place with lots of quality shopping malls that reflect this. It can get very hot in Dubai during the summer months, and many people enjoy the cooler air while they walk around the shops and browse the many fashion stores.

Water sports

Water sports are very popular with tourists on Coop holidays to Dubai. If you’re thinking of going for the first time, a personal travel advisor should be able to guide you on the best places to go for a particular activity and where to hire any equipment needed.

The most common water sports people enjoy in Dubai include water skiing, jet skiing, scuba diving, and sailing.

Many a relaxing day has been spent on the beach watching others take part in a variety of different water sports.

Trips to the desert

Excursions are always in demand on Coop holidays to Dubai. A good personal travel advisor will be able to tell you more information about trips into the Dubai desert. Desert safaris are extremely popular and you can even choose to stay overnight and camp beneath the stars.

If you prefer the comforts of your hotel, there are also desert safari trips that run in the mornings, afternoons and evenings so you can get a great experience and return to a nice comfortable bed later.

Author Bio: Go to http://www.co-operativepersonaltraveladvisors.co.uk/ to find out more about the range of services provided by the company’s experienced holiday advisors. Whether you’re thinking of booking a trip to Dubai or anywhere else in the world, a personal travel advisor can help save you time and money.

The mud baths at Dalyan are a great experience. You can feel like a kid again by jumping around in the mud which is said to have therapeutic properties. Once you’ve covered yourself from head to toe, you can take a nice shower, and many report their skin feels much fresher for days afterwards.

The mud baths can get very busy at peak times, but nonetheless are certainly something different and make for a great photo opportunity.

Sarsala Cove

Sarsala Cove is a picturesque and relaxing place to spend time on Dalaman holidays. Once you’ve got into the beautiful turquoise lagoon, you’ll never want to leave.

The scenery surrounding the cove is also spectacular. Holidays to Turkey are well worth it for experiences like this. Sarsala Cove can be accessed by car and boat and is only around 12km from Dalaman town centre, but it’s a place of incredible natural beauty.

Lycian rock tombs

Dalaman holidays wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Myra. This city has its own amphitheatre, but the star attraction is the rock tombs carved into the mountainside.

Exploring this part of Turkey is in stark contrast to the modern beach resorts, but definitely worth making the effort to see. You can get a real flavour of Turkey’s past by visiting Myra, and you’ll feel like you’ve been transported back thousands of years.

Kayaköy

In 1923, Kayaköy became a ghost town; deserted by all of its inhabitants. This town is a fascinating place to explore, and while most of the buildings have remained uninhabited for decades, there are a few that have been carefully restored and now have people staying in them.

A visit to Kayaköy is relaxing in its own way, even though it’s a completely different experience to lying on a beach at one of Dalaman’s many famous nearby resorts.

Home to world-renowned art galleries, infamous coffee houses and a fascinating red light district, which is perfectly safe for tourists, Amsterdam is an ideal choice for a long weekend any time of the year.

As the city is situated in northern Europe, travellers are never going to be heading to Amsterdam for the sunshine, however, it is nice to visit in the spring when the famous tulips are in bloom. Tourists lucky enough to be in town on April 30th, which is a national holiday for the Queen Mother’s Birthday, can enjoy a range of festivities and events, including a free market in the main square.

While the red light district in a city may not be top of the list of tourist attractions in most destinations, in Amsterdam it is perfectly safe to wander around the streets during the day. It is a fascinating glimpse into this unusual industry, with women stood in full-length windows to advertise their establishment and several intriguing coffee shops where special brownies and cakes are often on the menu.

The Dam Square, where the free market in held in April, is the heart of Amsterdam and worth a visit along with the Netherlands version of Madame Tussaud’s and the Rijksmuseum art gallery. The moving Anne Frank Museum is a must, with visitors able to explore the actual attic where the famous diarist and her family hid from the Nazis during World War II.

No matter what your budget or tastes, there will be restaurants to suit you in Amsterdam. Everything from the late-night Turkish kebab houses to the ubiquitous Febo fast food chain provides cheap and filling snacks. Febo is a Dutch institution with customers putting their cash or card into an ATM-style machine and making their sweet or savoury selection which drops into a shelf below.

Those with a sweet tooth should make sure they sample some of the local specialities, including Frikadellen and Bitterballen. Of course, there are fine dining restaurants too while the liveliest bars and nightclubs tend to be found in the area around Leidscheplein.

Most of the locals use bicycles to get around this flat city, and cycling is very safe with lots of areas where cars are banned. Driving is difficult, not just because so much of the city is out of bounds to vehicles, but because the narrow streets are very busy all day long. Luckily for those who don’t want to drive, and who are not fit enough to spend their holiday cycling, Amsterdam has an excellent public transport system especially the tram network which connects all the suburbs with the city centre and the main tourist attractions.

No visit to Amsterdam would be complete without a boat trip on one of the famous canals, providing a unique view of this beautiful and historical city.

Morocco is a vibrant, exciting and very hospitable country that offers a multitude of choice when it comes to holidays. The are beach side times which offer long lazy days on stunning beaches and are perfect for family holidays, long lost cities with colourful histories waiting to be rediscovered and a diverse landscape to explore that encompasses hard deserts and lush woodland. Whatever kind of holiday you are looking for, you will find it in Morocco.

Whilst there is much here to offer the traveller, and the tourist industry in ever increasing, this country on the north west coast of Africa has in the past often been thought of as a difficult place to visit. This had nothing to do with the country per se, more the arrogance of the tourist who expected nomadic people in the back end of beyond to speak perfect English, by staying in the main tourist areas there is no problem language wise.

Morocco holidays are like any other in that you get out of it what you put in. It is a veritable hub of wonderful food, culture and stunning architecture. This is all derived from its strong African heritage but the European influences, due to its proximity to Europe and its years of rule under the French empire, are clear to see. Arabic is the main language, although French is also widely spoken as are Spanish and Berber.

It is worth remembering that the dominant religion in Morocco is Muslim, so bare skin is considered offensive. Ensure that you are covered up when not by the pool or on the beach so as not to cause offence, as walking around the streets in shorts or swimsuits is a definite no no here, especially for women. Those who travel here are generally happy to recognise this and tourists who do get very little hassle.

It is important while planning your trip to Morocco that you check out if your time there coincides with any religious festivals. During the month of Ramadan for example, eating and drinking during daytime hours is strictly forbidden under Muslim law so has to be done out of sight. It is also worth remembering that the left hand is seen as unclean here, so always pass anything, money etc, with your right.

Don’t be put off by these rules, Morocco is a fantastic holiday destination and it’s no great hardship to adhere to the rules of the country that has welcomed you for a short while.

The Disneyland resorts attract millions of visitors every year who want to experience the combination of our favourite cartoon characters, breath taking rides and great shopping.

Since the first Disneyland opened in Anaheim, California in 1955, their success has been phenomenal, and there are now five Disney resorts; two in the USA and one each in France, Japan and Hong Kong.

Many comparisons have been made between Disney World in Florida and the not so new kid on the block, Disneyland Paris. As far as size and amenities are concerned, the former wins hands down, but it has to be said for the people of Europe who, for any number of reasons, can’t make the long trip to Florida, Disneyland Paris offers them a taste of that indescribable Disney magic that has enchanted the world for decades.

Whichever Disney park you are visiting, you will find a great variety of tickets available, ranging from a single day up to a week. There are numerous websites selling Disney tickets, and as with any other online purchases, err on the side of caution. Use only reputable site to buy your Disneyland tickets, and while you may see cheaper, you want to make sure you actually receive your tickets and not just kiss your money goodbye.

By purchasing your tickets as far in advance as possible you are giving yourself the chance of catching the best deals. One deal running at the moment gives you 14 days access for the price of 7 to Disneyworld, and while this may seem a long duration to the initiated, those who have been t here before appreciate just how big it is and how long it takes to actually see everything the park has to offer.

These tickets are also fully flexible, so you can come and go as you please and don’t have to go every day. So while you may think you don’t need a pass for 14 days, the flexibility is brilliant so why not get the extra 7 free days? Other sites are also offering free days; 7 for the price of 4 for example, but most of these offers end on the 31st January so if you want to take advantage you have to be quick.

All kids love anything to do with Disney, but the ones who are little bit older and know all the characters will be able to remember it, then again, if you take your children when they are babies, you always have the excuse to take them back when they are older.
